Plastics
FACT: When the media reported on the presence of BPA in Polycarbonate bottles we were already switching our bottle line over to the revolutionary new BPA Free material Tritan™. In fact we were among the first in the industry to utilize this new material. We also manufacture in other BPA free materials such as Polypropylene and PCTG. Cool Gear does not manufacture any of our hydration bottles in materials such as PC (recycle #7) and PVC (recycle #3). Our entire line is BPA and Phthalates free. Please note that the number 7 recycle symbol includes many other plastics that do not fall into their own category. Our new copolyester named Tritan™, which is produced by Eastman Chemical is recycle #7, but is BPA free. As a company we are PVC free, which includes our packaging.

Aluminum
FACT: We want all our customers to be aware that our aluminum bottles, including the interior lining, undergo rigorous safety testing procedures at Bureau Veritas, an International testing lab. Our bottles have been certified as BPA Free. The material used to line our bottles, even in its raw form, contains no BPA.
Our Graphix™ line of Aluminum bottles is made in the USA. For use with cold beverages only. Hand wash only. Do not freeze bottle with liquid inside.

Stainless Steel
Our stainless steel bottles are made with 304 18/8 food grade stainless steel. Do not freeze bottle with liquid inside.

Gaskets
You can remove the gaskets on our caps to clean. This is necessary on all products that hold milk (ie: Cereal On The Go,
Cookie Dunker, Snacktime, etc.) since mold may develop.

How do I care for my StayFit products?
• Freeze the gel-filled components only. The gel is built into the walls, they do not come apart.
• The gel-filled components should not be placed in conventional ovens or microwave ovens.
• All components should be hand washed.

How do I care for my StayFit Soup/Meal container?
• Container is microwave safe for reheating purposes only. Microwave container in 30 second intervals.
• Do not use in conventional ovens or stove top.
• All components should be hand washed.

What's in your freezer sticks?
Our freezer sticks contain non-toxic freezer gel. When frozen, they can be placed in the bottle to keep your beverage colder, longer without diluting it. The freezer sticks should be washed by hand, and should not be placed in the microwave.
