Cool Gear has always been committed to the health and safety of our customers. All of our products have been tested by International Testing Labs for safety and function and we test every shipment. Our factories must pass the highest standards for Social Accountability as well as a GMP audit. We are already testing all products to meet the new CPSIA guidelines (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act)  that goes into effect in August 2009. We track all of our products components by resin batch and production date.  We as a company, are committed to ship a safe product and will continue to test against FDA, CPSIA, Prop 65, EU and Japanese standards. Cool Gear does not manufacture any of our hydration bottles in materials such as PC (recycle #7) and PVC (recycle #3). Our entire line is BPA and Phthalates free. Please note that the number 7 recycle symbol includes many other plastics that do not fall into their own category. Our new copolyester named Tritan™, which is produced by Eastman Chemical is recycle #7, but is BPA free. As a company, we are PVC free, which includes our packaging. We use recycled paper stock and try wherever we can to minimize our carbon footprint.

Cool Gear constantly strives to develop products that reflect our commitment to quality and innovation. We are proud to announce our newest line of Graphix Aluminum hydration bottles that are MADE IN THE USA. They are 100% recyclable and earth friendly. We are also adding a line of innovative stainless steel bottles made with 304 (food grade) stainless steel.
